That’s why we’re excited to introduce our specialized Residential Pallet Delivery with Tailgate Truck service. Whether you’re a homeowner, a small business, or an online retailer, our tailored solution is designed to make your palletised deliveries smooth, convenient, and hassle-free.

What Equipment is used?

A Tail Lift (Also none as Tail Gate) truck is usually used to offload pallets from the truck. Manual or electric pallet jack is used to move pallets around. For properties with limited access a crane (Hiab) truck maybe used instead of tail lift trucks. Alternatively, you can request a hand unload but limitations apply to this service due to health and safety risks. See below photos of Tailgate and Pallet Jack:

 How does it work?

At delivery side (or/and collection side), as long as it is safe to do so, the driver will follow the below:

1. Lower the tailgate truck’s liftgate to ground level.
2. Position the pallet jack with forks aligned under the pallet.
3. Lower the pallet onto the pallet jack’s forks and secure it.
4. Maneuver the pallet jack and pallet onto the liftgate.
5. Transition smoothly from liftgate to the ground.
6. Move the pallet to a kerbside location using the pallet jack.
7. Lower the pallet jack’s forks to release the pallet.
8. Raise the liftgate back to its original position.
